Remembering the dreams cherished by the founders of the Association, we continue to encourage our premises to be used as a community centre. Be it a social gathering or a cultural function, it fits the common person’s requirements with economical relaxation and ownership’s pride.

We have two auditoriums (one with a large stage) that can seat nearly 120 people. These can be used by our members for events like wedding, birthday celebration, get together, etc at a nominal cost.

There are rooms on the 2nd floor for accommodating guests. Perfect hygienic conditions of the toilets and stylish furnishing adorn the guest rooms. The members are entitled to use the facilities. Guest rooms are quite popular amongst new job getters who come to Bangalore, tourists looking for economic package, sports personalities, people coming for medical treatments, and so on. To avail our guest rooms please contact our office.

The Association has a well-stocked, recently renovated library. We have more than 5000 titles which include all the classics written in Bengali language by eminent authors as also modern novels and collections of poetry by contemporary writers/poets. The collections also include works in the English language. And what’s more, there is a children’s section too.Any suggestion to improve upon our library is most welcome.

  • Enrich our Library through your contribution & participation.

  • We invite suggestions to procure new books to expand our existing collection.

  • Our Library is open from 6 p.m to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and remains closed on Sundays.

The Association is very sensitive to inculcate aesthetic sense in the younger ones and also encourages learning the local language even by grown-ups. We organise painting classes. The Timings for Painting Class: Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Original writings, discussion and workshop on literature are quite dear to our members and connoisseurs. We need interested persons to come forward and make ‘Sahitya Sabha’ a regular happening..
